Hopeful Horizons’ 7th Annual Race4Love Raises More Than $11,000

Hopeful Horizons announced today that they raised more than $11,000 through the 7th Annual Race4Love benefiting local survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. The 5K run/3K walk was held on Saturday, February 16 on Cat Island. This year’s Grand Marshal was Jennifer Petersen, from the History Channel’s Truck Night in America. Petersen and her 2000 Jeep Wrangler named “Rock Rage” competed in an extreme off-road course in an episode that aired in late January. WJCL’s Riley Miller emceed the event.
